On submission of this application the building notice fee to be paid will be calculated by our Building Control team in accordance with Stockton Borough Council's current charges. For further information please refer to the building control fee tables (opens in new tab) under the section, Fees
Work can start within 48 hours of the fee being received.
A building notice shall cease to have effect on the expiry of three years from the date on which that notice was given to the Local Authority, unless before the expiry of that period, the building work to which the notice relates had commenced; or the material change of use described in the notice was made.
