Headteacher Reflection Programme

Being a headteacher can be, at times, a lonely and demanding role. This 10 session programme is designed to support headteachers to build strong networks, share best practice and provide a regular opportunity for reflection.

The course is aimed at all head teachers, particularly those who took up post in the past six years or who are new to Stockton-on-tees.

We will meet approximately once a month in a selected school or other venue. Each session will provide all participants with the opportunity to share their thoughts and approach on the topic. The session will be facilitated by an Education Adviser and or a headteacher.

This programme is a 10 session commitment:

• session 1 on 19 September 2024
• session 2 on 10 October 2024
• session 3 on 24 October 2024
• session 4 on 7 November 2024
• session 5 on 12 December 2024
• session 6 on 23 January 2025
• session 7 on 13 March 2025
• session 8 on 10 April 2025
• session 9 on 8 May 2025
• session 10 on 12 June 2025

The programme also includes an optional residential, focused on well-being, which will be an additional cost.
