Overview
Join us for a friendly and informative workshop designed just for parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those who are vulnerable. SensoryWorx will guide you through understanding how sensory development affects hunger and sleep patterns.
What You'll Learn
Skills you will learn are:
- sensory processing issues - discover the challenges that children with sensory processing issues face, making eating more difficult
- social engagement - understand how social interactions can impact eating habits and why mealtimes might be stressful for some children
- eating and drinking patterns - learn about children who may need to eat or drink more often or have trouble stopping once they start
- support strategies - get practical tips and strategies to help your child with mealtimes and sleeping
Why Attend?
This workshop is all about giving you the knowledge and tools to better support your child. By understanding their sensory needs, you can help create a more comfortable and supportive environment for them.
