Submit a Demolition notice

Use this service to:
1. ● submit a demolition notice under section 80 of the 1984 Building Act
  
  Application takes around 20 minutes to complete.
What you'll need
1. ● a method statement for the demolition
  
  ● your plan showing drainage runs and intended positions where used drains are to be sealed off, if you have one
  
  ● a debit or credit card to pay the £150 fee

Before you start
1. Demolition can commence 6 weeks after you have submitted the notice, unless notified otherwise.
  
  If the building is less then 1,750 cubic feet you do not need to submit a demolition notice.
  
  Please note failure to provide 48 hours notice prior to the sealing of any drains could result in a fine.
