- gain an in-depth understanding of the revised early learning goals and the exemplification materials to support practitioners in making their judgements for children at the end of the foundation stage
- establish a solid working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) documentation and legal requirements
- become familiar with guidance materials to support making accurate judgements within the EYFSP
- understand how the observation, assessment, and planning cycle in Early Years supports the EYFSP
- learn the expectations of the expected standard and how to complete the EYFSP accurately
